hey this is so cool :) my dad signed my guestbook haha :) yes, i told him about this site. i've been hiding my online journals from my parents but this one i gotta show them because it's a great way of keeping in touch, right? so anyway, yeah i was smiling like crazy when i saw his entry :) awww.

right now i'm waiting for CSI on tv :) then there's a CSI marathon on the 27th and i'm so looking forward to that. would you believe that i haven't gotten gifts yet? yes, i suck that much. gahhh! i have to squeeze my way into the mall tomorrow and join the christmas rush. last minute shopping is the least thing i want to do during the holidays but it's my fault that i didn't get the gifts earlier so this is the price i'll have to pay. oh gosh. thank goodness i have money for the gifts. it would be a disaster to be broke when i've got a lot of people on my gift-giving list.

okay bye. i'll go watch tv :P oh, i've got a photography stint going on. it's at http://gail.fotopic.net :) enjoy!

oh dear. you won't believe what's playing behind me- Otso Otso! haha! the tv at my back is playing otso otso and it's funny but i'm listening to it anyway.

i started the day right :) i woke up early for the first day of Simbang Gabi and now i'm really happy i got to wake up that early! when i got home the sun still wasn't up so crept back to bed until i dozed off and woke up at past 10 to get ready for the ballet.

right now, i just got home from a day with Ina (my closest high school friend back in St. Claire), her boyfriend, the boyfriend's mom, and the sister. we watched The Nutcracker at the CCP (Cultural Center of the Philippines) because Ina's mom was the creative director of the production so we got the best (and free) tickets. the seats were the best too- Paterre Box. our box was right next to Franco Laurel's and his family. sweet, they watched the ballet together.

the ballet performed by Ballet Philippines was spectacular. being there and watching the graceful and pretty costumed ballerinas made me want to turn back time, back when my bones were still flexible, back when i was stick thin so i could train to become a ballerina. they all looked pretty in their ballerina costumes. plus, the dances were gracefully performed and i loved the whole performance overall. it was pretty long too! it took the show 2 and a half hours! but, since the whole show was so stellar, i didn't mind the long hours. plus, we had the best seats so we got the best view too =P

after the ballet we went back to hardy's (ina's boyfriend) condo and grabbed a bite at Tubbies. i had a great time :) haha. they said i was talkative :) heehee. i had so many stories to tell and once my ice was broken i started making kwento all the way to hardy, ina, and hardy's sister. then after we ate hardy and ina drove me home all the way here to Quezon City. it took us more than an hour to get here because of bad traffic and now i'm alone in this room with MTV on full blast. hooyeah. i'm so tired and i'm lazy to go to school tomorrow. it's our last day before december break but i have to meet up with mitchie and apple to visit the national museum at 10 a.m. then the annual Lantern Parade at 5 p.m. gahh! i wouldn't go if i weren't required for my p.e. class :(

i had a great day. it was fun hanging out with ina again and her boyfriend and her boyfriend's family. hehe. okay i'll go relax now. i'm still in my jeans and blouse. i should go change into something comfy.

i had such a hard time dragging myself off the bed this morning. i had to talk to myself mentally to prevent me from falling asleep.

school was exhausting today although we practically didn't have classes today. i met up with mitchie after math class. i had absolutely no idea that the Oblation Run was today and i was really surprised when i saw the fliers posted on the walls of the hallways. i thought it was tomorrow but yes, they probably moved it. anyway, because i am such a boring person, i did not want to watch the Run. instead, mitchie and i went to the mall nearby and hung out there just to kill time. i was joking that maybe when we go back to school we'd see the naked APO (Alpha Phi Omega) guys still running around naked. lo and behold! i was right! we were walking towards the GAB building when i heard the crowd scream! hahaha! you guys should have seen our faces :D mitchie hid behind the van in the parking lot and i tried to move too because... it was mortifying to stand in the middle of the parking lot. so yeah, we still saw the naked guys despite our intention to NOT SEE THEM NAKED. i watched the run last year.

then we went to our COMM3 room for our meeting. we planned for our reporting and our video-recorded business meeting before the Christmas break. i swear, just for this subject we have so many things to do already and it's almost nerve-wrecking. we have to do extensive research, make slides, burn them, do a reporting in class in business attire and all that hoopla. something tells me that school will start next year with a big BANG considering that i have two tentative exams already :( bahhh.

mitchie and i were so freaking sleepy the whole day. maybe it was the chilly and windy weather. good thing our HIST100 class ended 30 minutes before the actual time and our ANTHRO1 was also cancelled but we have homework. we have to go visit the museum :( i went straight home after class because i was so sleepy and the whole ride home i was reading The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. i can't seem to put it down and although my eyes were half closed already, i figured that reading during the ride will make it shorter. i'm almost finished and this book almost made me bawl all over :( such a sad story *sobs*.

when i reached home i saw little Bryce (the toddler next door) and i called him to come to me and i handed him a Choco Bite (from mister donut). that stuff is so yummy that i am now addicted to it. you can bribe me with choco bite and i'll do favors for you mwehehehe :) i felt very Christmasey when i got home :) i also gave one to the little girl named Davie (our housekeeper's niece).

tomorrow i might not have classes so when my good high school friend Ina texted me this morning asking if i was available tomorrow, i said i was. she has free tickets for The Nutcracker ballet tomorrow at the CCP (Cultural Center of the Philippines) theater so i'm going :D whee! then my math-11 classmate, Cats invited me if i wanted to watch the play Pinocchio at CCP too because she's a stage actress. whee! i love stage plays and ballet and everything else about the performing arts so i'm pretty excited.

bye now. i'm going to finish the book and cry some more.

whee :) i finally had time to make one website again :) i've missed this. i don't have a links page yet because i'm still making a list. if you want me to link you, i'd be happy to exchange links with you so just let me know, okay? tell me if there are errors and such so that i can fix them right away. oh, please sign the guestbook too! i'd really appreciate it.

yesterday was jezrel's birthday at Don Henricos, West Ave. it was pretty fun but not all our grade school friends were there. i made new friends though and it was pretty fun. i came home pretty late already because after dinner we went to the condo and hung out for a while.

right now i am looking forward to this year's Simbang Gabi. i haven't gone to one my whole life but this year i hope i could complete the 9 mornings. i feel like by preparing spiritually for Christmas, i might appreciate it even more and know the true meaning of Christmas other than great food, gift giving and receiving, and cold weather. that would be really shallow.

Christmas is sooo near! have a merry one, everyone! (wow, that rhymed! haha!) okay bye now. i'm out Ü

me journalling with droopy eyes and eye bags

i'm watching Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers right now on my computer because i'm too lazy to go to the living room and watch there. besides, i have just showered and it's cozier to watch in the room while i'm all sprawled out on the bed with my fuzzy white (favorite) comforter.

i had lunch with mitchie, apple, and nilo came to join us at Tokyo Tokyo. classes today were okay, except that by the end of the day i was so sleepy already. time seemed to have stopped and i told mitchie that my watch must have been broken. heehee. an archaeologist came in today in my anthropology class. at first it was all interesting then the enthusiasm began to fade and mitchie, apple, simoun, and i started to doodle again. i told apple that we are now professional "doodleologists" haha. how lame =P well, a boring anthro class can do that to you. i wish i could show you guys a scan of our doodles because they are really crazy doodles and letterings of our idiosyncrasies. then after class i got so excited to go home already but thanks to traffic i got home two hours later with droopy eyes and a mild headache.

now i am very sleepy but i want to watch Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers so i'll go now and feast my eyes on the movie. i want to watch the third part which is showing soon in local cinemas so this is me logging off.

bye!

i'm tired and sleepy

school was boring today. i wasn't able to make it to the lunch thinggy at krizia's dorm because it rained here at Quezon City and because of that my sister and i couldn't leave the house early. i went straight ahead to school and when i got there no one was at the hallway. it was almost scary. then chezka came and i told her that i haven't eaten lunch yet so she accompanied me to the cafeteria. i got a ham and cheese croissant and a chocolate drink then we went back to the second floor. we sat on the floor in the dark hallway right in front of the classroom. we got into talking about the books we like and the books we don't like. then i told her about Neil Gaiman's Stardust and i got her into the book. then after i told her about the first half of the book, she went "tapos? ano na nangyari?" then a smiled sheepishly and said, "di ko pa tapos yung book." and then she said, "arrrgh! Nabitin ako!" hahaha :) sorry, chezka :) i got carried away. then the other girls from our SOCIO101 class started to come until there were 8 of us on the floor. we got into talking about our childhood adventures- the many spankings, and the like. then our professor called me on my cellphone and said she would be late. she came very late, indeed!

SOCIO101 was boring. my professor was like a tape recorder replaying her lecture last week all over again. i sat with mitchie and simoun. i had this pad with me and i started doodling again. i was so sleepy and simoun was hilarious because he was pretending to write down notes when he was actually writing words like: Boh-riiing. then thank goodness the professor dismissed us an hour from our usual dismissal. after that i went home because i was so sleepy already.

now i'm home and i'm sleepy. i think i'll go take a nap for a while then watch Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers which Bea lent me. i haven't watched the this part and now that the third part is showing, i better finish watching Two Towers.

okay bye =P

here me rant tonight

i went to school with my sister today and as usual, i almost ran late just waiting for her get ready for school. i was late, actually. except that i was lucky enough to come in right when my professor walked in himself. mwahaha. we were both late. however, because of my tardiness, i had to take the seat right at a corner beside the humming aircon. the aircon was making such a loud humming noise that i had a hard time understand what my professor in POLSCI14 was saying. i was with simoun at the back and we both kept making side comments whenever the professor or our ever-so-active classmate spoke. the class today was also very boring. even apple and mitchie were bored. they were doodling and they even played tic-tac-toe in the middle of our discussion. i was so sleepy too so i kept bugging simoun instead and we ended up snickering once in a while.

then after class mitchie, dandreb, and i went to the cafeteria to grab a bite before the org meeting. we met at the Oblation Garden again at the stone tables. i had a good time fooling around with the other committee members. haha. we were goofballs during the meeting. i am quite surprised that we actually accomplished something today. we talked about the org's Christmas party and the number we'll be performing. then we also talked about exchange gifts. i was required to make my own wish list (with a budget of 100 pesos) so i came up with this:

1. books! books! books!
2. earrings
3. a bag
4. a bracelet
5. a shirt

i can't think of things i want that is 100 pesos and below so there. i wouldn't mind a cute pair of earrings. i wanted to write "laptop" or "a new cellphone" mwahaha. then after the meeting i asked krizia to accompany me while waiting for nilo because i didn't want to be there alone. we talked about small things and then she invited me to her dorm tomorrow for lunch so i'm going to meet up with her at La Salle. yayness. then it's probably off to SOCIO101 class.

now i'm sleepy. tired too so i'm going to call it a night. good night world, and thanks for reading this. anyone.

long ass entry gone. hello, shorter one.

whole day classes today. i am so tired and sleepy. i typed up a longer and more detailed entry than this one but there was an error and it disappeared just like that. daymmnn. on the lighter note, i went to hear mass with Nilo this evening. i'm glad i went since i wasn't able to hear mass last night.

i am actually looking forward for Christmas break already but before that, i am looking forward for the Lantern Parade and the other Christmas activities at school right before school ends on the 17th. then there's Cavite on the 28th, the planned Christmas party of my sister and her boyfriend (sana matuloy), Bea's birthday party on Friday then the JIGS dance competition at Megastrip right after on Friday.

yay for the holidays :) have a merry one, you all :)

too many things to do in so little time

i just finished researching for my paper for my ANTHRO1 class then it's back to work for me.

last night my sister, her boyfriend, and i went out for coffee. we were supposed to go to Starbucks at Timog but since it's saturday and it's gimmick night, everyone was at Starbucks. we went to Gloria Jean's instead near St. Luke's then Jinx came lateron. i'm thankful that i went because kuya John gave me some sound advice regarding the kind-of-tangled mess that i am in right now. it's not that serious but it is still mind boggling. then after coffee we went to Off the Grill in Timog where Pat, Joseph, a girl, and a guy was. i forgot the names, i'm bad :( then we just hung around. the others ate but i was full from my coffee so i just had a drink while we listened to the band. they played oldies like "The Leader of the Band" and songs like that. it was pretty good. the weather was just right too. the owner of the place was funny because he was drunk and he almost looked retarted.

we came home pretty late (and tired) already. then today i woke up at 11 a.m. with a lot of things in my mind. schoolwork is piling up as well as the readings so i planned on starting some today. i did get to finish a few then i became sleepy so i took a short nap at the other room because my sister was using the computer for her thesis. when i woke up it was already past 5 and i haven't gone to hear mass yet so now i'm going to get ready so i can catch the 6:30 evening mass later.

i feel very motivated to accomplish things (which i hope to do tonight) and i don't even know why. maybe God is at work and i am finally learning to make a move and get things done already.

ooooh. my sister just came home. she bought chicken for dinner and brought me some butter cookies (my favorite!) and spanish bread from the bakery. yum.

ciao!

torn

i made a refrigirator cake for my birthday uncle and it's now in the freezer for faster cooling. we'll have it for dessert. it's my first time to make one and i hope it's okay because instead of using Graham crackers i used Digestive crumbs (the ones you use for cheesecake crusts as an alternative to Graham).
so there. it's a Refrigirator Cake, Gail style.

i didn't do anything productive today unless you call surfing the internet, reading journals, and downloading mp3s productive. i was planning on studying today or at least reading my POLSCI14 readings or start solving my math homework but i'm just too darn lazy to do that. maybe tonight. then on the 13th (this friday) there are a lot of good places to go to. there's Bea's birthday, Jez's birthday slash reunion (with my grade school friends at Don Henrico's at West Ave., and the Jig dance competition at the Megastrip. where will i go? my friends and i planned to go to Bea's birthday then go to the Megastrip to watch the dance competition but now that Jez invited me to her birthday slash reunion, i want to go too. my grade school friends will be there for crying out loud!

why do they have to plan these occasions on the same freaking day? :(

i love my org already

i ran late for my only class today and i hate it when that happens. the good thing is that my professor still checked my attendance when i went up to him. yay :)

i had a meeting for the org today. it's so much fun being a member of the Publicity committee since i get to be with the coolest people. the cool thing is that we're planning to call our org ORGASM- Organization of Area Studies Major. isn't that the smartest org name you've ever heard? haha :) Von is such a funny and smart guy. he was the one who cooked up the idea of calling the org that. besides, this is UP and in UP we're free to do things we want! then there's this upcoming new org which will be called ORGY which means Organization of the Youth (or something like that).

i am very much interested in working and being a member of my course's org. i feel like there's so much fun here than focusing on academics alone. there is more life out there beyond books and photocopies of readings.

this shall be a fruitful semester. i hope :)
