newlyweds on mtv

i watched Newlyweds today on Mtv. i thought the show was somewhat stupid when i first watched a couple of episodes. plus, i loathed Jessica Simpson for being whiny. i thought that she shouldn't have gotten married because i think she needs to grow up first.

but i was wrong. the show is entertaining. that happens sometimes, right? it's like listening to a song that you hate so much and then you listen to it a couple of times and wham! it becomes a favorite or at least you begin to appreciate it. perhaps the reason why people don't like Jessica too much is because she's pretty. you have to admit that she's really beautiful. some people can really look stunning even if they're whining, wasted, or just plain dressed. Jessica isn't the smartest person in the world, that's for sure. her unplanned, unscripted stupid remarks can really be annoying but they're entertaining (and funny!).

when you really look past the harsh judgements you'll be able to see beyond the surface. we're not friends (doh) but watching her on tv and seeing how much her husband adores her is enough for me to conclude that she must be a good person beyond the constant airhead statements and childlike whinings.

as for nick, i swear. that guy is so patient! i hope my husband-to-be (sino kaya? tsk tsk) will be that patient with me because i do have my moods.

so yeah, i therefore think i like Newlyweds. you can shoot me now.
